Panama 507 Roundtable Group is an organization of Panamanian professionals committed to examining the social, economic, political and public policy issues that affect Panamanians in the United States.
We bring people together to study those issues, share informed analysis and engage the public officials and institutions whose decisions affect our community. Our work gives Panamanians and friends of Panama a structured way to contribute their knowledge, raise concerns and help shape practical responses.
Our mission is to engage Panamanians and friends of Panama in advocacy, research and policy dialogue that informs decision-makers and advances equitable outcomes for the Panamanian community.
Panama 507 conducts and shares policy analysis, supports advocacy at the city, state and federal levels, and builds relationships with government, nonprofit, business and community partners. We also organize programs and events that strengthen cultural connection, civic participation and economic opportunity.
Panama 507 is nonpartisan. We focus on issues, public policy and community outcomes rather than political parties. We seek constructive relationships with decision-makers and work across institutions when cooperation can benefit the Panamanian community.
Panama 507 welcomes people and institutions that share an interest in Panama and the success of Panamanians in the United States. Through the Friends of Panama initiative, we seek to build a U.S.-based network that can support policy priorities, contribute to informed discussions about migration and diaspora issues, and strengthen communication among Panama, its diaspora and U.S. policymakers.
